Say What You Mean is a new speaking series designed for EAP and general ESL classes at CEFR B1. Co-authored with my husband, Tom Milburn, this book presents strategies and practice activities for oral communication: group/class discussions, slide presentations, poster presentations and group projects.
Critical Reading, Pearson Canada, 2015
Designed for EAP students at CEFR B2+, the text takes students through a systematic overview of the analysis of academic text. Authentic materials are used throughout, with texts from business, environmental science, economics, design, education, and more. Academic Upgrading Coursebook
College Skills: Intermediate English, Coast Mountain College, BC, Canada, 2018
This book was written for adult students, many of them Indigenous, working at a Grade 10 level. The book has a west-coast/northern Canadian focus and is designed to help students develop proficiency in reading, writing, language use and study skills. College Skills: Intermediate English is available to colleges throughout British Columbia through BC Campus.
